Excellent cuisine Wonderful view of the Baltic Sea from the terrace

Very, promote, courteous service. Good tasting food. Nice viewing platform to the Baltic Sea. Good to recommend.

I called 3 days in advance and reserved a table. When we arrived at 6 p.m. all the tables on the terrace were supposedly reserved, although there was no reservation sign on two free tables. So we had to sit inside first. Even entering the guest room was difficult because I am sitting in a wheelchair and it did not fit through the door. Only when we asked whether the second double doors could be opened did the waitress make herself comfortable. Directly next to the entrance stood a man and a woman, whose function was unclear to me and who reminded me of the time shortly after the fall of the Wall. The toilets were of course in the basement and when I asked about a ground-level disabled toilet, I was looked at as if I came from another planet. When we were the only ones sitting in the far corner in the guest room, I didn't feel very welcome, so that we were about to leave this inhospitable place. Maybe we hesitated too long, because suddenly the waitress came and offered us a nice place on the terrace with a sea view. She brought the drinks afterwards and said that the toilet could also be reached by elevator. We were served relatively quickly and the food was delicious. For this reason I give it 3 stars.

We can only recommend this restaurant. The staff in the restaurant were very nice and attentive. From the matjes tartare in the starter to the fish platter to the apple crumble, everything was fresh and very, very tasty.

The view would actually be great if you could have looked through the totally dirty glass wall. It took a long time for the waitress to come, but she hardly spoke or understood German, was quite friendly but totally unsure. We wanted to order some of the chanterelle menu, but that was all !! So why is the menu hanging? No vinegar and oil were placed with the salad, the schnitzel was delicious, but the potato salad was way too hard, cooking 5 minutes longer would have helped. When paying, the receipt was placed on the table without a word and we then had to work out for ourselves who had to pay how much. Never again, it's really like in the former East, but trimmed to be classy, ​​at least in terms of price, but service and quality are absolutely inadequate! Not recommendable

Were eating there in early January 2020 - fish plates and gnocci - both very good! We were also very satisfied with the service and friendliness. In summer 2019 and 2018, the three of us (outside) were also very impressed by a selection of vegetarian dishes. We will definitely go there again this holiday at the end of August / beginning of September. We think Bethanien is very recommendable!

The restaurant is basically nice and has a magnificent view, but you can't see it when you sit inside. Our dinner at Bethanien was an absolute failure for us. The service staff was completely understaffed, but friendly. We waited forever for the menu, our order to be taken (only after 30 minutes), the drinks and the food (2 hours in total). The starters were very good, but the main courses were underground. The fish was killed a second time by the cook. It was so dry that it almost became dusty while eating and our daughter's potato pancakes were hard as if they had been warmed up several times. Unfortunately not recommended for us.

Our evening there was more of a disaster. The poor service staff was completely understaffed, but friendly. How the two women for two should take orders from so many tables, prepare drinks, serve and cash in, both inside and on the terrace, is beyond me. We waited too long for the drinks and the food (2h). Our neighbors were sometimes even worse off. The starters were delicious, the main courses weren't worth the wait. It's a shame with the great view!

No masks with the staff and also not with the guests .. Sorry is not possible! Asparagus old and tarnished .. Potatoes too .. Schnitzel is just breading and unfortunately finished TK .. For a proud 18 € Lord ever ..

Too bad, 20 degrees, a great huge sun terrace. A sign lured from the promenade, we are open. Arrived at the top there is a note saying "The terrace is closed due to weather conditions" When I speak to the ladies at the main entrance, they are irritated. Usually it should be open outside too! Please go in and let the waitress know. Well, I treat myself to the fun, I go in and say my saying. Wonderful the waitress looks at me unmotivated and has to ask myself first ....... After 10 minutes ..... the answer: no, so we spend our money elsewhere in corona times. Had a bit of GDR planned economy ?

I always thought socialism was over 30 years ago. But the tone and the competence of the service reminded me of the GDR times. There were only 7 coffee cake guests present.

Ambience is ok, but the food is not recommended. Price / performance ratio is not correct at all. Overpriced for poor quality.

Tonight enjoyed the menu with matching wine. Great view of the Baltic Sea, nice ambience, great, tasteful dishes and very friendly service.

Martinsgans food was just great. The soup a dream. The goose is super delicious and the dessert a treat. Again any time .

Fresh wind with new chef, we talked very nice with him and he explained that he will now bring step by step modern kitchen! Eaten very well. Keep it up. We will be back. Ps. Insider tip in the summer for sea lovers at dinner because the terrace is located higher and you have very good foresight.

We were greeted rude. After the service ran 3x past us, we were assigned a table. The restaurant was busy, but not full. After our order we waited about 15min. On the drinks. Own guests were preferred. The food came relatively fast. My soup was simply forgotten. Children's and meat dishes were delicious, the pan was spicy and the feta was sour. The restaurant looks very classy (decor), but the staff does not fit and the food is very expensive. There are nicer restaurants in the area to feel good.

Comfortable, inexpensive offer for the World Cup and nice service. Currywurst, fries and a beer € 6.90 ?
